KINGFISHERS are a popular subject for Camera Club, the brightly-coloured bird often proving surprisingly elusive and therefore all the sweeter to successfully capture.
It makes sense then that we had several submitted for this week's 'the one and only' theme.

Our favourite came from Ian White who wrote: "I originally dismissed this shot, but on closer inspection, I'm really quite pleased with it."
We love the watercolour effect of the background colours providing a perfect contrast to the creature's rich blue plumage and hints of orange.
Next week's theme is 'Why I Love Oxfordshire' and ties into a competition we are running with Experience Oxfordshire to find the best views in the county.
