One day very soon, these hallways will be echoing with the sound of young children excitedly learning about everything from astrophysics to microbiology.

Ahead of its official opening later this year, the Oxford Mail got a sneak-peek inside the £13m new Science Oxford Centre.

After just over a year of construction, educational charity The Oxford Trust received the keys to its brand new science education centre on Tuesday.

The Science Oxford Centre and Wood Centre for Innovation are located at Stansfeld Park in Headington Quarry.

The trust took the leasehold on the 18-acre site, a former outdoor education centre, back in 2016 and hired local architects, ADP to design the new centres.
