DRIVERS faced half-hour delays and a mile-long queue this morning due to roadworks in a South Oxfordshire village.
Oxfordshire County Council advised motorists to avoid the A329 Milton Road in Stadhampton, due to disruption caused by temporary traffic lights.
The queue was stretching back to the village of Little Milton shortly after 9am - for live updates see our travel feed.

The roadworks are to allow for a water main connection and are expected to remain in place until tomorrow.
