A 'ROLE model' primary school pupil has won an award in memory of the late Eve Shepherd.
The Eve Shepherd Award is given by Bruche Primary School once per term, in memory of the former pupils who died at her home in Padgate in 2015 aged just 14.
Year six student Sienna Truelove is the latest winner of the prize, having been granted a music scholarship with King’s Leadership Academy.
Chris Jones, headteacher at the Seymour Drive primary school, said: "Sienna was awarded the special trophy for becoming the first child at Bruche to be given a music scholarship at King’s Leadership Academy.
"Sienna is a fantastic pupil and an amazing role model to everyone – Sienna has made Bruche and her parents very proud."
