A WOMAN charged with causing a horror crash that killed a pensioner has made her first appearance at court.
Anusha Ranganathan, of Glebe Gardens, Grove, spoke only to confirm her name as she appeared at Oxford Magistrates' Court yesterday.
The 41-year old is facing a single count of causing death by dangerous driving alleged to have occurred in June last year.
Prosecutors claim that as a result of her 'dangerous' driving she caused the death of grandmother Pat Robinson, from Wantage.

During the collision at the A338 East Hanney, on June 4, Mrs Robinson was in a Nissan Juke while Ranganathan was the driver of a silver Toyota Avensis.
Mrs Robinson was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in a serious condition but later died on July 5.
After her death her family paid tribute and in a statement said: "Pat was a wonderful, loving mother and grand-mother.
"Everyone comments on what a kind and caring person she was, and this was a special quality that made her extremely popular and well-loved in the local community."

Because the charge is an indictable only offence the matter was sent to the crown court and Ranganathan will appear again at Oxford Crown Court on May 17.
She was released on bail in the meantime.
No formal plea was entered at the hearing but her defence barrister said that his client wanted to publicly apologise for what occurred to the family, who were sat in the public gallery yesterday.
