A YELLOW weather warning has been issued for Oxfordshire today for high winds as Storm Hannah hits the UK.
Forecasters have warned of gusts up to 75mph is in place until 3pm with the Met Office saying bus and train services could be affected, while some short term loss of power and other services is possible due to fallen trees and branches.

The yellow weather warning means that people should plan ahead thinking about possible travel delays, or the disruption of your day-to-day activities and has been in place since 9pm yesterday.

The MetOffice is predicting a dry day for Oxford with temperatures mostly around 6C.
It is expected to be hit with gusts up to 45mph, with the strongest winds thought to batter the city between 11am and 4pm.
The rest of the weekend is again expected to remain largely dry with the sun, and temperatures around 12C, making an appearance from 1pm through to 7pm tomorrow.
