OXFORDSHIRE’S teams will be looking for big improvement when they take to the grid for tomorrow’s Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix.

Of the six cars prepared in the county, none picked up any points in Azerbaijan a fortnight ago.

Nico Hulkenberg, who drives for the Enstone-based Renault team, is hoping a race on a familiar track in Barcelona will prove a big help.

“We had a productive winter test there, so we’ll be looking to build on that circuit knowledge,” he said.

The Haas team, from Banbury, are looking to improve on an eight-point haul in four races, while Williams, based in

Grove, are yet to get off the mark.
