A VAN has been seized in Oxford after both front tyres were found to be illegal.
Thames Valley Police's Roads Policing unit inspected the vehicle on Botley Road this morning.
One tyre was breaking the law through its cord being exposed, while the other was below the minimum tread depth of 1.6mm.

The van's insurance was also three months out of date.

Police tweeted: "When your vehicle is your livelihood you need to make sure it's road legal and road worthy."
