THE Alzheimer’s Society has launched a campaign to urge people to start a conversation with someone who lives with dementia.

The Ask Us Anything campaign was designed to mark Dementia Action Week, which ran from May 20 to May 26.

The campaign was announced as research shows that despite nearly everyone knowing someone affected by the condition, two-thirds of people living with dementia report feeling isolated and lonely.

People who live with dementia have started a video to answer questions relating to dementia.

The charity is urging people in Berkshire to share the video, which has appeared on Alzheimer’s Society’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.
