A LIBRARY in Wokingham has launched a new online service for residents who are currently on the hunt for a job.
Wokingham Borough libraries has created a new online platform called Universal Skills, which has been specifically designed to assist resident who are in the process of applying for universal credit.
The new online system will also provide other services including giving advice about the necessary steps residents should take during the job-seeking period and other useful skills such as how to prepare for a successful job interview.
Existing members of the library can already sign up to the service by creating a Universal Skills account using their library membership card numbers.
In order to use the service any new members should sign up the libraries service before they can create an account to use the new online platform.
