According to Oxfordshire County Council's school closure page, pupils were sent home at 1pm 'as the school has no power.'
Power provider SSEN states on its website that the fault was first reported at 11.27am this morning, and a spokesman has since said that power has now been restored.
It lists 34 known affected postcodes, including that of the school's, all in the SN7 7 (Uffington) area.

The council's website also lists Ladygrove Park Primary School in Didcot as being closed today.
An entry in the school's newsletter this week explains that the school is closed so staff can attend a colleague's funeral, and thanks parents for their support and kind words during a 'difficult time.'
