HEAVY rain forecasts have led to an amber weather warning in parts of South Oxfordshire.
The Met Office has warned that homes and businesses are 'likely to be flooded' within the affected area, which stretches from the edge of the county to London and over to Canterbury.

The warning states: "Delays and some cancellations to train and bus services are likely with spray and flooding probably leading to difficult driving conditions and some road closures
"Fast flowing floodwater is possible, causing danger to life.
"Power cuts and loss of other services to some homes and businesses are likely."
In Oxfordshire, the amber warning covers Watlington, Chinnor, Lewknor and down to Nettlebed and Henley.

The rest of the county is covered by a yellow warning for rain, which warns 'difficult driving conditions' and a 'small chance' of homes and businesses flooding.'

The amber warning will be in place from 3pm until 11pm today, and the yellow warning, which is already active, will end at 11.59pm this evening.
Oxford and most of Oxfordshire is forecast heavy rain all day.
