POLICE are hunting a man who is wanted in connection with a spate of burglaries across the county.

Lee Doyle, aged 32, is wanted on suspicion of seven burglaries and for failing to appear in court on June 29.

Crimestoppers are offering a £1,000 reward to anyone who can provide information which directly leads to his arrest and charge.

Some incidents occurred in Oxford, Woodstock and the village of Charney Bassett, near Wantage.

Another burglary took place in Great Shefford, a village in West Berkshire.

Doyle is white, around 6ft tall and of slim build, with short dark brown hair and blue eyes.

He is believed to have connections in Oxfordshire, as well as Wiltshire, Weston Super-Mare, Ilfracombe, Northampton and Windsor.

Investigating officer, DC Charles Boshell, of the Investigation Hub at Abingdon police station, said: “We are appealing for information to find Lee Doyle in connection with incidents of burglary and failing to appear at court.

“We would ask for anyone who believes they have seen him to contact police."
