Oxfordshire County Council said last night the gas main had 'ruptured', adding that the road closure will cause issues to 'peak morning traffic.'
It is expected to particularly affect motorists heading towards Abingdon.
A reminder that the #B4016 #LadyGrove in #Didcot remains closed this morning because of a ruptured gas-main. This will affect anyone trying to get to #Appleford or #SuttonCourtenay or #LongWittenham from #Didcot. #OxonTravel pic.twitter.com/KfXMbJD1Ri
