GAS works have closed off a stretch of road outside Oxford’s Worcester Street car park.
The scheme started on Monday and is due to last for eight weeks, according to warning signs in the area.

Now it is out of action traffic is more likely to build up in Frideswide Square although there did not appear to be major hold-ups today.
Delays are expected in Hythe Bridge Street, according to other signs, from July 31 for two weeks of roadworks.
