PROSECCO in the Park starts tomorrow, a week after the riverside event was postponed over the threat of lightning.

The three-day festival at Abingdon's Rye Farm Meadow will feature hit movies on the big screen and an endless supply of Prosecco.

It is the second year the film and fizz fun has taken over the town's riverside.

This year organisers are promising a larger outdoor screen, plus new cocktail, craft beer and gin bars to accompany the Prosecco bar.

There will be eight screenings for all ages, including Bohemian Rhapsody, A Star is Born and Mary Poppins Returns.

Gates open at 5pm on Friday. All tickets are transferable from the original dates.
