TRUCK Festival began with Slaves sizzling in the sun yesterday.

The 22nd instalment of the popular small festival saw early ticket holders arrive yesterday afternoon to enjoy an evening of music.

Slaves were the headline act at Hill Farm, Steventon, where organisers were getting set for a weekend of music and partying.

The vast majority of revellers arrive tomorrow, ahead of performance from a host of talented local acts and headliners Wolf Alice, Foals and Two Door Cinema Club.

Other performers include Nothing But Thieves, Johnny Marr, You Me At Six, Don Broco and Kate Nash.

Festival organiser Matt Harrap has declared himself 'extremely excited' by this year's line up.
