SEVERAL bikes fell victim to a questionable piece of parking from a van driver in Abingdon.
Photos posted on Facebook showed the bizarre scene on the High Street yesterday evening, which saw the vehicle take out a row of stationary cycles.

At least half a dozen bikes appear to have been damaged in the incident, which left many with bent frames and wheels.
One passerby revealed multiple people said the van 'lurched forwards' from the bus stop.

There are conflicting reports of how the accident occurred, with one eyewitness saying the driver was 'swerving' to avoid pedestrians, while other accounts said nobody else was involved.

Nobody appears to have been injured in the incident and Thames Valley Police has been contacted for comment.
