A CANOE club that has been without a home for almost two years will have to wait a little longer to find out whether its plans for a base at Abingdon Lock have been approved.
Kingfisher Canoe Club was due to find out on Thursday if the scheme, which would see a combined storage hut and changing built on the lock's island, had been given the green light but this has now been pushed back to August 14.

Over the past three years they have looked at 28 alternative sites.
