AN attempted robbery victim was 'stabbed' in a Didcot park over an Apple watch on Tuesday, police say.

The Brasenose Park incident, which happened between 9.30pm and 10pm, saw the victim, 30, shove a man who had lunged at him in an attempt to grab the watch.

Only once the offender had run away - after the victim had stood on his foot and pushed him to the ground - did the man notice a deep, six inch wound in his left arm.

He was later treated in hospital and said he did not recall the offender having a knife but that he wore a hooded zip top, black trousers, trainers and a grey peaked cap.
