A 21-year-old charged with an assault which left a man in a critical condition in hospital has appeared in court.
Toby Smith of Saxton Road, Abingdon, was charged with one count of Section 20 grievous bodily harm on Wednesday and appeared in Oxford Magistrates’ Court today.

Smith did not enter a plea today, and is now due to appear at Oxford Crown Court on Thursday, September 19.
