THE “aisle of dreams” in Aldi and Lidl is popular with shoppers keen to find a bargain on anything from gardening tools to clothing.

Whether it’s Aldi’s Specialbuys or Lidl’s Middle of Lidl, the latest offers are always worth checking out.

Here is some of what you can expect this week:

ALDI

Aldi Special Buys range is back this week with a bumper edition specially curated for students heading of to university.

The store has launched pre-orders on a home cinema sound deal featuring a Medion soundbar and two-speaker system for £44.99.

Billed as part of the budget supermarket’s Student Tech Special Buy sale it’s a three-piece unit including a soundbar and two speakers which stand upright either side of your TV.

Aldi has also launched online orders for a 49-inch Medion HDR TV for £299. For those on a tighter budget or with a small space to fill, the Student Tech Special deals also include a 39in Full HD smart TV for £199 as well as a 32incher for £180.

Aldi is also helping parents with a range of items for babies.

Shoppers can get a toy wooden stroller for £24.99, a bed bundle for £59.99 or an interactive unicorn plush toy for £12.99.

The aisle will also feature changing tables, clothes and a selection of toys.

LIDL

There’s everything from laundry baskets and mattress protectors to kitchenware and tech stuff for students.

Gardeners can pick up a small blueberry bush for £3.49 and a bottle terrarium for £16.99.

Meanwhile the “Big Sale” features a selection of workout equipment and running gear, including rowing machines, exercise bikes and trainers.

There will also be drinking glasses, baking moulds and headphones.

On Sunday the store switches to travel and office essentials.

A backpack can be picked up for £7.99, and a two piece suitcase costs £89.99.

You will be able to buy a stamp kit for £3.99 and a notepad and pen for £1.29.

Sunday’s “Big Sale” includes items such as skinny jeans, joggers, a 16-in-one multi-games table and an England Rugby Hoodie for £14.99.
