TWO Oxford transplant recipients treated at the Churchill Hospital were part of a medal-winning football team at a global tournament.
Chris Collis and Carlton Richardson, from Oxford, won bronze at the World Transplant Games in the north east of England.
The pair both received kidney transplants at the Churchill, in Headington, with Mr Collis's donated by his mother in 2009.

The 33-year-old, who plays in goal, is now married with two children.
The duo were part of the Great Britain and Northern Ireland (GB & NI) team that finished joint-third with Italy, while the other GB & NI side took home the gold medal.
Before the game, the teams were visited by former England and Manchester United striker Andy Cole, who has previously received a kidney transplant.
The World Transplant Games took place between August 17 and 23 across a variety of venues.
