EVEN Boris Johnson knows that the best way to find out about issues affecting Oxfordshire is to read the Oxford Mail.
The Prime Minister was pictured perusing a story from this newspaper during a meeting with Conservative Parliamentary candidate for Oxford West and Abingdon, James Fredrickson.
The pair studied the article while the Tory candidate asked Mr Johnson for the government to protect green belt sites from being allocated for housing.

Mr Fredrickson said he wanted to discuss plans for 4,400 homes north of Oxford, which have been heavily criticised by campaigners.
The site has been allocated to help meet Oxford City Council's 'unmet' housing need.
