The fair, which is widely recognised as the longest in Europe, took place between October 6 and 8.

The Michaelmas Fair runs from the Market Place, through the High Street, The Square and the full length of Ock Street.
It is named after the feast of St Michael, dates back to the 14th century when it was a hiring event for rural farmworkers in the area.

Despite a wet weekend welcome for the fairground staff, the temperatures were mild for the time of year and there were enough breaks from the rain for families to enjoys the rides and food stalls.
It is not the first time the fair has been photographed with a drone from above.
In 2017, drone operator Tim Walker took a series of moody nighttime photos of the fair as it was in full swing.
