DAVE Simms was crowned the Greene King Oxford & District League singles champion.
In a packed Cowley Workers Club, the Ampleforth Arms player saw off Billy Trinder, from George A, 2-0 in the final.
Both players were bidding for a first title, but Simms came out on top with four dolls in the opening leg and five in the second.
Gladiators A won the Greene King Cup for the third time in four seasons when they came from behind to beat George A 2-1.
Andy Beal (5-5-5) was in top form with 15 dolls.
Swan A lifted the Monty Greenaway Fours for the third time in a row when they defeated Black Prince B 2-0.
Dick Walsh clanged off two sixes, while Prince’s Steve McAteer also hit a maximum.
The Ted Houghton Singles was a thrilling clash between two youngsters, with Jack Lane (Northway C) getting the better of Tom Finney (Blackbird).
Kevin Stuart and Ashley Stuart put last year’s defeat in the Parent & Child Cup behind them as they beat Jason and John Weller 2-0.
Kevin Stuart then made it a double win when he partnered James Morrison to beat Andy Lewis and Mark Washington 2-1 in the Oxford Pairs.
In the Under 21’s Cup, Daniel Reading (Swan A) defeated three-time winner Liam Costar (Masons Arms B) 2-0.
Ian Gillett and Richard Hathaway beat Steve Bradbury and John Griffin 2-1 to take the Lower Pairs crown.
Bullnose Morris B beat Green Road Club B 2-0 to be crowned Jim Whitbread Cup winners for the first time.
And Vikings Sports D beat Masons Arms B 2-0 in the Oxford Fours.
