Paul Martin Cook, 50, of Iris Lane, Witney, was convicted of speeding on Langford Lane, Kidlington, on July 17. The speed limit on the road was 30 mph. He was fined £165. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85. His driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

William Lee, 43, of White Horse, Uffington, was convicted of driving a car without a licence on May 24 at Stanford in the Vale. He was also convicted of driving without third party insurance on the same date. He was fined £660 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85. His driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

Richard James O’Connell, 30, of Church Crescent, Thame, was convicted of failing to identify the driver of a car when required. He was fined £660 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85. His driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

Mae Elizabeth Peto, 25, of Parsons Mead, Abingdon was convicted of driving without third party insurance on May 16 on the A34 southbound at Hinksey Hill. She was fined £660 and ordered to pay £66 and court costs of £85. Her driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

James Whyte, 34, of Clover Place, Eynsham, was convicted of driving without third party insurance on the A34 at Milton on April 5. He was fined £500 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £50 and court costs of £85. His driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

Tania Brown, 51, of Rosamund Road, Oxford, was convicted of speeding on Woodstock Road, Oxford, on Christmas day last year. She was travelling at 37 mph on a road where the legal limit was 30 mph. She was fined £128 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Her driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

Martin Hanns, 36, of Blenheim Drive, Bicester, admitted to not providing a breath specimen when suspected of having driven a vehicle on September 4. He was fined £150 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85. He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for two years.

Melanie Price, 52, of Chaffinch Walk, Oxford, admitted she dishonestly failed to notify Oxford City Council about a change in living circumstances which would affect her housing benefit entitlement. She was ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work. She was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.

Shofik Townsend, 42, of Campbell Road, Oxford, admitted stealing a power drill from Screwfix on Botley Road, Oxford on March 11. He also admitted failing to surrender to custody on Augsut 12 after being released on bail. He was ordered to pay compensation of £200.

Hazar Merahmad, 34, of Norris Close, Abingdon, admitted distributing seven pouches of tobacco falsely branded ‘Golden Virginia’ at Matean Market, Hollow Way, Cowley, on May 20. He also admitted guilt to nine other charges of selling falsely branded rolling tobacco and hundreds of packs of cigarettes which did not comply with branding regulations. He was fined a total of £2500. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £250 and costs of £3,816.75. The tobacco and cigarettes were destroyed by Oxfordshire County Council.

Thomas Bowen, 35, of Hook Norton Road, Sibford Ferris, admitted speeding on the B4035 at Tadmarton on November 1, 2018. The legal limit on the road was 30mph. The speed Bowen was travelling at was not specified. He was fined £100 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £40. His driving licence was endorsed with three points.

KATHLEEN ROONEY, 28, of Alice Smith Square, Oxford, admitted assaulting a man on Littlemore on March 3 as well as being drunk while in charge of a child. She was made subject to a community order to include rehabilitation activity requirement for seven days and she must pay compensation of £50, a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £375.

MATTHEW SIMMS, 18, of Pegasus Road, Oxford, admitted assaulting a man in Oxford on February 9. He was made subject to a community order to include 90 hours of unpaid work and he must pay compensation of £125, a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £350.

MATTHEW SIMMS, 18, of Pegasus Road, Oxford, separately admitted going on to the playing area of a football match at The Johnny Rocks Stadium, Cheltenham, on January 8. He was fined £190 and must pay court costs of £350 and made subject to a football banning order for five years.

JOAO GUIMARAES, 30, of Collins Street, Oxford, admitted assaulting a man in Oxford on October 16. He was made subject to a community order to include 100 hours of unpaid work and he must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £420.

JACOB LONG, 19, of Lucerne Avenue, Bicester, admitted driving a vehicle above the alcohol limit on February 24 in Bicester. Had 142 mlg of alcohol in 100 ml of blood. He was fined £230 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for 17 months.

LUKE SHIRLEY, 19, of Westlands Drive, Oxford, admitted causing a nuisance or disturbance to National Health Service staff by refusing to leave the John Radcliffe Hospital when asked to do so on September 3. He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and must pay victim surcharge of £21.

RENALDY VONG, 23, of Courtland Road, Oxford, admitted assaulting a man in Oxford on October 16. He was made subject to a community order to include 100 hours of unpaid work and he must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £420.

DANIEL WEBB, 36, of Newnam Manor Caravan Park, Marsh Gibbon, admitted stealing wallet containing £30 cash, bank and other cards and two jacket from a vehicle on August 2 in Harwell, and stealing a wallet containing bank and other cards as well as shoes and sunglasses from a vehicle in Didcot on August 2. Also admitted two counts of fraud by false representation by using a debit and credit card on August 2 to make purchases valued at £60 and £43.98. He was jailed for 18 weeks suspended for 18 months and made subject to a community order to include drug rehabilitation requirement for 12 months. He must also pay compensation totalling £100.

JAMES GAFFNEY, 35, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing meat to a value unknown at Midcounties Cooperative, Oxford, on August 10, shoes valued at £150 from Shoezone, Oxford, on June 21, perfume valued at £210 from Boots, Oxford, on August 3 and failing to surrender to custody. Conditional discharge for 12 months, compensation £360.
