YOUNG people in Oxfordshire are being invited to have their say on national health care policy.

The NHS Youth Forum has launched a new round of recruitment to find those aged between 16 and 25 who want to advocate for young people on issues they face to do with the health service.

The latest project will focus on the NHS Long Term Plan, which sets out priorities for health care over the next 10 years.

Successful applicants will be needed until March 2020.

Being a member of the NHS Youth Forum, which has been running since 2014, will involve working with staff and volunteers from across England, sharing health care experiences, and being active on social media.

Members also act as ambassadors for the British Youth Council and NHS England.

Up to 25 young people are being recruited who have a 'passion for creating positive change' for young people across the country.

Young people will need to submit an online application form by Tuesday, November 12.
