New details have been submitted for four new houses in North East Didcot.

The developer, Legal and General Homes, is seeking approval for the homes as part of a giant housing estate in the neighbourhood, 1.5 km from Didcot town centre.

It is located to the north east of Didcot, to the north of the A4130 peripheral road and to the west of the Ladygrove estate.

Under the plans, the homes – one two-bed, two three-bed and one four-bed house – will be used as show homes in the early years and then will be sold at open market.

The North East Didcot site is part of a 'sustainable planned urban extension' to Didcot that was granted planning permission back in July 2016.

Legal and General Homes claims the development will take between 10 and 15 years to complete and it will provide up to 1,880 houses as well as job opportunities.

The council is aiming to make a decision by January 2.
