AN ANNUAL Christmas bash for Abingdon residents aged over 70 is back.
The popular festive party, thrown each year by the town's mayor, will this time be hosted by councillor Charlie Birks who took over the role this summer.

There will be afternoon tea at the Hilton Garden Inn as well as entertainment on December 18 between 2pm and 4pm.
Tickets are free and will be available from Abingdon Town Council at the Roysse Court Offices on Bridge Street from Monday, November 25 until all of them are gone.
Last year tickets sold out within five days.
