A MASKED duo armed with a hammer and knife left a Didcot shop empty-handed after trying to steal from the store.
The attempted robbery happened at around 8pm on Monday when two people entered Croft Stores, The Croft, wearing dark clothing, gloves and hoods.
A video of the incident, which has been posted on social media, shows shop security footage of the pair, whose faces are covered, as they flee the shop. One is seen to be holding a knife, the other a hammer.

Police confirmed no one was injured during the incident and nothing was stolen.
The force has appealed for witnesses and asked anyone with information to call police on 101, quoting reference number 43190368761.
