A PENSIONER with dementia who has been missing for two days may have been spotted walking along a country road.

Sally Braff, from Coleshill, near Faringdon, was last seen at about 7.30pm on Sunday wearing a long black coat. 

The 72-year-old is known to frequent Highworth, Faringdon and Lechlade areas.

Ms Braff, whose surname was initially incorrectly given by police as Brass, is described as 5ft 6ins tall, with short grey hair.

Thames Valley Police said a woman matching her description was spotted walking on the B4508 from Highworth, Wiltshire towards the A420 in Watchfield at about 7.30am yesterday.

Police said officers are 'extremely concerned' for her welfare and urged people living in the area to check their gardens and outbuildings.

Investigating officer, Inspector Roger Lamboll, based at Didcot police station, said: "I would like to thank everyone who has so far shared our appeal to trace Sally, and I would ask them to continue to do this, and for people to be on the look out for her.

"We have received a report of a person matching Sally's description walking on the B4508 from Highworth, Wiltshire towards the A420 in Watchfield at about 7.30am yesterday."

He added: "I would therefore like to ask any motorist who has any dash cam footage in that area yesterday morning to please get in touch, as your recording could be vital to our investigation.

"In addition to this, I would encourage people living in the Watchfield, Highworth, Shrivenham and Coleshill areas to please check their outbuildings and gardens for any sign of Sally.

"She suffers from dementia and is likely to appear cold and confused."
