The accident happened at around 6.30pm on Edinburgh Road close to Stepford Football Centre in Easterhouse.

She said: "Last night around 6.30pm my dad was involved in a car accident.

"While on his bike was hit by a car this happened at the junction going up to Springhill Trading Estate just next to Stepford football parks Easterhouse.

"He really badly hurt and is currently in the hospital. If anybody was around that area or seen (sic) what happened could they message me and let me know as we are trying to find out exactly what happened."
