The sky at night: Fotheringay Road, Pollokshields Picture: Colin Mearns
GLASGOW was blanketed in dramatic purple and red skies this evening after a weekend of sunshine.
Glasgow Times photographer Colin Mearns captured this shot Fotheringay Road in Pollokshields at 4.40pm and dozens of others took to Facebook and Twitter to share their own pictures.

Meanwhile, Glasgow Times camera club member David Livingstone captured this image of the sky on Islay.
And Alan Perry, who is also a member, shared this shot of East Kilbride.
