TRAFFIC was queuing for more than a mile on the A420 tonight due to a broken-down car.
Firefighters were on scene near Tubney, close to the Church Road junction, at about 6.30pm and were helping to control the traffic flow.
There were queues in both directions due to the blockage but drivers travelling in the direction of Faringdon appeared to be worst-affected.
