A WOMAN who caused a crash that killed a motorcyclist when she ran a red light is due to be sentenced today.
Amanda Day was found guilty at Oxford Crown Court last month of one count of causing Billy Elbrow’s death by careless driving over the crash, which took place at Milton Interchange in August, 2018.

The jury returned a majority verdict of 11 to one on December 20 following a four-day trial.
Day, 52, of Westmead, Princes Risborough, had denied she ran a red light, her defence instead insisting Mr Elbrow, from Abingdon, had himself gone through a red light on the A4130 and was at fault.
She is set to be sentenced before Judge Nigel Daly.
