AN AIR ambulance landed at a primary school following a 'medical emergency'.
A Thames Valley Air Ambulance helicopter touched down on the playing field outside Harwell Primary School near Didcot this morning, shortly before 9am.
A South Central Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed that the aircraft was sent following a medical emergency, but did not provide any further information.

Parents commenting on Facebook praised the school for how it handled the situation.
One mum said: "The school were fantastic with how they handled it, especially as it landed 10 minutes before school opening.
"The school were amazing and very quickly went into emergency protocol and sent the kids straight into their classrooms."
An ambulance and rapid response vehicle was also seen in nearby Orchard Way.
The school has confirmed that its field was 'simply the nearest space' for the ambulance to land.
