TWO Oxfordshire authorities have revealed their plans to fight climate change as part of their 2020/21 budgets.
Following a meeting of the Vale of White Horse District Council Climate Emergency Advisory Committee (CEAC), a one-year programme was recommended that aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2045 in the district.

The scheme included solar energy investment, energy saving in council buildings and employing a climate change lead officer.
Following a committee meeting earlier in January, South Oxfordshire District Council too revealed a similar scheme.
The report also looked at how the council could develop a sustainable travel plan for staff and an action plan to reduce single use plastic.
The proposed budgets will now go for final approval later in February.
