A HOME care agency in Drayton has been praised for staff going the 'extra mile' by the national health watchdog.
Care With Dignity Partnerships, was inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) on January 2.
Rebecca Bauers, the CQC’s head of inspection for adult social care, said:
“Care with Dignity Partnerships provides care that is both caring and compassionate.
"People were placed at the centre of the service and were involved in decisions about their care.

"The provider ensured that people had maximum choice over their lives and were involved in their care planning."
She added: "Staff supported each other well and went the extra mile for people. They were skilled, knowledgeable and encouraged to develop." Ms Bauers congratulated the agency on being rated 'outstanding' and said all 37 people being cared for were 'treated as individuals' and supported to engage with activities within the home and local community.
