Love is in the air for our Oxford Mail Camera Club this week. Everyone is loved up, snapping heart shapes and preparing for valentines day. There has even been a Love Hearts sweet proposal.

The theme this week was ‘love’ and Camera Club has been creative, here are some of the entries from the week.

Louise Hook’s little people are out to work again and this time they are preparing the Haribo jelly rings.

Erin Pratley’s ‘Martyn’, didn’t propose with Haribo jelly rings, but instead went for the traditional Love Hearts for his sweet proposal.

What the world needs now is love sweet love, and on the theme of sweets Susan Gibbs confessed her love of cake with her indulgent picture full of confectionary.

The flower shop in the Covered Market is all ready and stocked up for today in Sharon Allen’s picture.

Book lover’s Becca Collacot and Dina Sikorska both illustrated their love for literature through creating heart shapes on books.

Camera Club have been taking loving pictures of animals and seeing the love in nature. Clare Barton has sent in a very cute picture of a mother Koala and baby Koala having a cuddle in the treetops.

Emma Bourton is seeing hearts with her picture of her love heart shaped leaves reaching across the water.

Victoria Wingrove has taken a picture of the hollow of a tree carved out into the shape of a love heart. Ness Ling has sent in a picture to show her puppy love and Dachshund appreciation.

More motherly love in Sue Reeve’s picture of a mother cow and her calf.

A happy image of new life was sent in by Patrick Galka, with his heartwarming picture of a great-grandmother holding her new born baby great grandchild.

Two love birds in Bristol Zoo share a branch together in Louisa Tucker’s picture.

A story of long distance love is illustrated in a picture sent in by Ian Jones. His picture captures a bird flying back to a loved one after returning from the South Africa migration.

Andy Bourton has sent in a colourful image of bright lights creating a heart in the darkness.

The winner of this week’s camera club will be announced tomorrow. The theme for next week is family.
