A BELOVED restaurant which said it was forced to close in January is today due to reopen at a new location.
The Swan at Tetsworth, near Thame, announced on Facebook on January 4: "Due to the discourteous attitude of our landlords, we have no alternative but to, very sadly, close our doors at The Swan."
After thanking customers for all their support over the past six years, the managers then added: "We will of course reopen very nearby, and very shortly too."
Review: The Swan seduced us with real French flare
On February 2, the French owners Antoine and Camille Chretien put a new announcement on Facebook that they were opening a new restaurant just three miles away in Great Haseley.
They said: "We are delighted to announce that we will be opening La Table d'Alix (The Plough), Great Haseley, from February 15."

They added: "We look forward to welcoming you all to our beautiful new venue."
The latest upheavals comes after the pub was forced to shut for three months in November 2017 after a fire in its kitchen. It reopened the following spring.
