A SMALL village school is helping children to become 'curious and confident learners'.
That was the feedback from Ofsted about Lewknor CE Primary School, near Watlington, after a visit last month.
The 89-pupil school has maintained its previous 'good' rating and was said to be a place where children 'thrive'.
Inspectors' report added: "Leaders and governors are passionate about what they do and want the very best for every pupil.
"Pupils love learning and are curious and confident learners."

Ofsted noted a 'real community feel in this popular and highly regarded school'.
The report added: "Values such as integrity, friendship and kindness underpin relationships across the school.
"Pupils behave exceptionally well. They get on well together and the school is a happy place of learning."
They said pupils 'enthuse about school life' and enjoy the 'wealth of activities' on offer outside of the curriculum.
The school in High Street had previously been rated good in 2016.
