A FLY-TIPPER has been slapped with a fine after dumping a Mercedes Benz in a field.

Daniel Collier, of Hillary Way, Wheatley, admitted getting rid of the white car by leaving it on land off Denton Way, near Garsington, on of before July 21 last year.

He appeared at Oxford Magistrates Court on January 20 where he admitted knowingly dumping waste without a permit to make some profit.

He was fined £650 in total and ordered to pay a victim surcharge fee of £40.

The 35-year-old was also ordered to pay back costs of £990.82.
