A SUSPICIOUS white van was seen cruising around the Oxfordshire village of Wootton photographing residents' cars and homes.
The two men who were driving the van said they were from Vale of White Horse District Council, however, the local authority refuted such claims.

One concerned local Sophie Davis recognised this as a potential scam and straight away reported the van with number plate LM08 UUA to the police.
Ms Davis also took to social media to warn other villagers who may have spotted the Vauxhall vehicle.
