SeeSaw director Judith Mulligan received the donation from Di Briggs, Chair for the MAXIMUS Foundation UK. The grant will be used to meet core costs including training Volunteer Support Workers.
Di Briggs, chair of MAXIMUS Foundation UK said: “We are honoured to be awarding a grant to SeeSaw. Their work in helping local children work through their bereavement is truly inspiring, and their training for educators and parents to support this is indispensable. The charity meets a unique need through its activity days, advice and consultations, so we’re delighted to help SeeSaw meet its ongoing costs to continue its work.”
