AN NHS worker was welcomed home by her six smiling children who were holding a big banner filled with messages of love and support for her and her colleagues on the frontline of the coronavirus pandemic.

Pippa Wheathley who is an accident and emergency nurse at a hospital in London returned to her Watlington residency yesterday morning only to find her young kids Charlie, 12, Evie, 4, Rosie, 10, Megan, 2, Lucas, 7, and Noah, 10, who wanted to surprise her with the heartwarming gesture.
