The Oxford Bus Company and Thames Travel will continue to operate temporary services during the Easter weekend.

On Good Friday and Easter Monday bus services will run to the current temporary special timetable that has been operating on Sundays.

The special timetables are designed to ensure that essential key workers such as NHS staff and those in the food supply chain can get to and from work over Easter.

There will be no PickMeUp service on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.

While the Oxford Bus Company travel shops in Queen’s Lane and Gloucester Green will be closed from Good Friday until further notice with season tickets up to four weeks in duration will be available on our buses from Sunday.

All bus operators are maintaining extensive cleaning regimes and high levels of hygiene to protect the health and well-being of passengers and colleagues.

Phil Southall, Oxford Bus Company and Thames Travel Managing Director, said: “We are operating our temporarily reduced COVID-19 timetables during Easter to continue vital services for key workers.

"I’d like to thank colleagues for their incredible professionalism during this challenging time and our customers for their continued understanding.”
