Dear Madam,

I would just like to pay tribute to three 'unsung heroes' in our village of Marcham.

Firstly, Ruth Manders and Natasha Kingsbury, who are responsibly for running and keeping our wonderful village community shop and post office open during these 'surreal' times.

Also Michael Wright, who without fail goes in before the shop opens every morning to mark up the newspapers before they go on sale.

It is wonderful people like them who make these awful times more bearable!

They are keeping the shop open for the very many people who cannot get 'online' deliveries, or even feel daunted going to the large grocery stores and maybe cannot drive.

Essential!
