EVER since lockdown began residents of small village near Abingdon have been receiving mysterious postcards wishing them well during the coronavirus crisis.
An anonymous well-wisher has been dropping off postcards with heartwarming messaged on the doorsteps of many people in Marcham and locals are keen to find out who it is, so they can thank them.
The kind messages often read: "I hope lockdown is okay.

"I hope you find something that will make you smile today."
One Marcham resident Ellie Wright explained how it has affected many: "It never fails to bring a smile to people’s faces and lift their spirits during these tough times.
"I know that many Marcham residents would like to say 'thank you' to these kind young people for being so considerate, and for going to such an effort to cheer everyone up."
