To allow for the work to take place, Blewbury Post Office will temporarily close on Thursday May21 at noon and the branch is due to re-open on Thursday June 25 at 9.00am.

Antoinette Chitty, Post Office area change manager, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers during the work.

"The safety of our customers is of paramount, therefore, to allow for the building work to take place, it will be necessary for the service to close temporarily. It will be well worth this temporary closure to allow for major improvements to the village hall to take place.”

During this temporary closure customers can access Post Office services from any convenient branch including East Hagbourne Post Office.
